Hi Fiani,
This first image is really strong. So dramatic, and balanced, and such a symmetrical use of shapes and values. I would say that it pushes the principle of variety to its opposite, which is economy. Would you agree? It also show the site, which is so familiar to Boston eyes, in a dramatically new light, feels fresh and could be anywhere.
The other images don't push variety far enough I think. They have a kind of balanced, distance, averageness that doesnt' take advantage of how the principle of variety can create different areas of emphasis in an image, which can lead our eye around more actively...
